About the COURSE
Welcome to Freedom
A unique event spread across 4 weeks where you experience unlimited possibilities and improve your wheelchair skills. The skills event is the inspiration arena for active living with a disability.
Four sessions filled with workshops for young and old, beginners or advanced. Become a wheelchair skill master.

Wheelchair skills
4 x 2 hour lessons
Lesson 1 & 2
The first two lessons are given in a gymnasium, where we use our own course. This is where the foundation is laid for rolling on the street. The goal is to develop feeling, confidence and control with and over the wheelchair, whereby experiencing fun with the wheelchair comes first.
Lesson 3 & 4
The last two lessons take place outside. During the lessons, attention is paid to street reading, going up and down sidewalks, going up and down slopes, overcoming stairs and using public transport.
